Dr. Ahmed Ebrahim Abdulqader Albalooshi
Chairman

Beside his position as the Chairman of Board of Directors of InvesTrade Company, Dr. Albalooshi is currently the CEO of Smarteam Consultancy, Chairman of Board of Directors of Bahrain Internal Auditors Association, Company, a member of Board Audit Committee of Aluminum Bahrain Company (Alba), Advisor to the United Nation Development Programme (UNDP) - Bahrain on part-time basis and Advisor in the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Finance (BIBF), a faculty member of Price Waterhouse Cooper's Training Academy ME, and a Certified Trainer with Bahrain Institute for Public Finance (BIPA); Bahrain Institute for Political Development; Bahrain Institute for Banking and Finance (BIBF) , and NAZAHA Training Centre in Saudi Arabia. In addition, he is a member of the Quality Assurance Committee in the Accounting Department of the School of Business Administration in the University of Bahrain.

Dr. Albalooshi, used to be a Board Member of Bahrain Telecommunications Company Group and Chairman of its Audit Committee; Board Member of Dhiraagu Telecommunication Company- Maldives and Chairman of its Audit Committee; Board Member of Umniah Telecommunication Company- Jordan and Chairman of its Audit Committee; Board Member of SabaFon Telecommunication Company- Yemen; Board member of Sure Telecom Group- Guernsey and member of its Audit Committee. Board Member of Ibdar Bank- Bahrain and Chairman of its Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee; and finally, member of Audit Committee of Gulf Air, Bahrain Airport Company and Gulf Aviation Academy.

Dr. Albalooshi has over 30 years of professional and training experience. His areas of expertise include auditing, finance, accounting, telecommunication, and public administration. Dr. Albalooshi trained hundreds of professionals during the course of his career. He has delivered training on various programmes such as conducting workshops for the MP and Government Officials in Public Finance and Budgeting, National Audit Office Annual Reports; as well as Accounting and Auditing Modules of CPA to a wide spectrum of both public and private sector entities.

Dr. Albalooshi holds a PhD in Accounting from University of Surrey- UK (2006) and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - USA (1993); MBA in Finance from University of Bahrain (1992); and BSc. in Accounting from University of Bahrain (1985).

Sheikh Hameed Bin Abdullah Al Ahmar
VICE Chairman

Sheikh Hameed is the Vice Chairman of Investrade. He is also Chairman and founder of several institutions in the region which include Saba Islamic Bank, Sabafon GSM, Al Ahmer Group, Yemen Gas Company and Yemen Saudi Company for Semantic. He is also a Board member of Madu in Turkey. Sheikh Hameed holds a Bachelor degree with Honors in Economics from Sana'a University, Yemen, and an honorary Doctorate in Islamic Economic Development from Omdurman Islamic University, Sudan.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa
Board Member

Sheikh Mohammed is a Board Member of Investrade and Chairman of its Executive Committee. Prior to Investrade, Sheikh Mohammed held numerous leading positions in the Oil & Gas sector where he was the Director of Oil & Gas in the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) in Bahrain. He was also a Board member of Bahrain Aviation Fuelling Company (BAFCO) in Bahrain. Sheikh Mohammed holds a Bachelor degree in Management from Suffolk University in Boston Massachusetts, USA, and a Master degree in International Law from the University of Westminster, London, UK.

Mr. Mohammed A. Al Ammari
Board Member

Mr. Mohammed is a Board member of Investrade. He is also the Chairman of Saba Islamic Bank in Yemen and the Director of Internal Audit at the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 2011. Prior to ICD, he was Vice President and Senior Audit Manager at the National Commercial Bank (NCB) for many years. Mr. Alammari holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting from King Abdulaziz University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and two Master degrees in Finance and in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urban Champaign College of Business, USA. He also holds several professional qualifications such as CPA, SOCPA, CIA, CMA, CFM and CBA.

mr. Raed Fakhri
Board Member

Mr. Raed is a Board member of Investrade and a member of its Executive Committee. He has over twenty years of business development and investment experience. He is a senior member of the Investment team at Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding since 2013. Prior to that, Mr. Raed was Head of Investments at Capivest in Bahrain focusing on real estate and technology investments. Prior to Capivest, Mr. Raed co-founded BDI Partners in 2010 and served as its Managing Director where he focused on consulting, business development and investments. Prior to that, he was with Bahrain Telecommunication Company (BATELCO) for almost a decade, where he was responsible for start-ups, and mergers & acquisitions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Raed spent three years with Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) as a Control Systems and Project Engineer. He is also a Non-Executive Independent Director of BATELCO since 2014. Mr. Raed holds a Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from the University of Central Florida, and an Executive MBA from the University of Bahrain.

Mr. Ali Sharif
Board Member

Mr. Sharif is a Board member of Investrade and Chairman of the ARGC Committee. He has over thirty years of Internal Audit experience. Currently, he works as a senior executive with different consultancy and management firms. Mr. Sharif is recognized by several professional regional and international bodies in the profession of Assurance & Auditing. Prior to joining Investrade, Mr. Sharif was the Group Chief Internal Auditor at Batelco, Bahrain. He is a board member of Bahrain Internal Auditors Association (BIAA). Mr. Sharif holds a bachelor's degree in finance & Accounting and the following professional certifications: (1) Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) - (2) Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) - (3) Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA).

mr. Muhannad Amin Hamad
Board Member

Mr. Muhannad is a Board member of Investrade and a member of its Audit, Regulatory and Governance Committee (ARGC). He has over twenty eight years of experience in business development and private banking. He is a Founder & Managing Director for several companies in Bahrain, including BDI Partners, United Marine Trading and Secure me. He is the Chaiman of the Audit & Compliance Committee in Asian Football Confederation (AFC) since 2014. Mr. Muhannad is a member of the Governance, Audit & Compliance Committee in FIFA since 2017.
Mr. Muhannad holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Bahrain.

Sharia Supervisory Board

Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Sultan
Chairman

Originally from Germany, Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Al Sultan has almost a decade of experience as a Sharia consultant and has served clients around the world in a variety of industries ranging from banking institutes and financial services to corporate and private equity entities. Being able to converse in English, Arabic, Deutsche and Urdu, Sheikh Muhammad is well versed in Islamic Law and Fiqh (jurisprudence). Sheikh Muhammad has been authorised by the Central Bank of Bahrain as a Sharia Advisor.

Sheikh Waleed Al Mahmood

Sheikh Waleed Al Mahmood began working in 1989 as a legal researcher at The Research and Legal Affairs Department at the General Organization for Social Insurance. After 10 years as a legal researcher, he joined the Sharia Supervision Department in Al Baraka Islamic Bank as a Manager. In 2005, he served as a Sharia Judge in the High Court at the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs and in 2007 he served as a Member of the Sharia Supervisory Board in Al Baraka Islamic Bank. Sheikh Waleed is a member of the Islamic Society in Bahrain and has participated in various specialized Fiqh (jurisprudence) conferences and seminars, as well as provided numerous contributions to preaching and religious teaching in mosques in Bahrain. He received his Master's degree in Sharia and Law from the American Open University in 2007.

Sheikh Dr. Salah Fahad Al Shahoob

Sheikh Dr. Salah is a Sharia scholar and an Assistant Professor at the Islamic & Arabic Studies College of Applied Studies at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has numerous research papers on various subjects within the field of Sharia and Islamic studies. Sheikh Dr. Salah holds a Masters degree from Al Imam University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a PhD from Edinburgh University, United Kingdom.

Executive Management

NIDAL AJAWI
Chief EXECUTIVE Officer

Mr. Ajawi is a banker with more than thirty years of extensive experience. He is a Certified Public Accountant who before joining Investrade worked for Gulf Internal Bank for more than twenty years gaining experience in the field of credit analysis, finance, marketing, portfolio management and deal structuring. During his time at Gulf International Bank, Mr. Ajawi handled multimillion portfolio, was handling deals with blue-chip companies, and involved in structuring mega deals in the region.
He was a Board Member as well as the Chairman of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee of Investrade.

Haseena bangash, CFA
Chief INVESTMENT Officer

Ms. Bangash brings with her years of experience in the fields of investment banking and has held several senior positions over the course of her career. She has successfully led and managed various regional and cross-border business transactions across multiple sectors and asset classes. Her niche area of expertise includes structured products, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, secondary offerings, private placements, investment development and debt raising. In addition, she is a growth strategy and business development expert.

Prior to Investrade, Ms. Bangash held senior positions at various prestigious organizations such as J Equity Partners BSC and Investrade Company BSC where she portrayed professionalism and met her targets successfully. She headed Investments at Investrade while advising a wide range of clients including financial institutions, family businesses and high net worth individuals on their investment, capital raising, investment strategy, restructuring and capital preservation. Prior to Investrade, Ms. Bangash was a Manager in the Corporate Finance department of Capinnova Investment Bank (Islamic arm of BBK) and has international investment banking experience from her tenure with Deutsche Bank AG. She has also served on the Board of various investment funds and companies.

Ms. Bangash is a CFA Charterholder from the CFA Institute USA and has a BSc in Accounting from University of Bahrain with honors. Ms. Bangash is a FAP qualified from Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (endorsed by CBB) and is a holder of ACIFE in Financial Analysis Certificate from Ethica Institute of Islamic Finance.

She is the honored awardee of the Prestigious Excellence in Finance - Leaders award for her significant contribution towards the financial sector at FiNext Conference 2019, held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

Fahed AlQatabi, mba
vice PRESIDENT | Head of Finance

Mr. AlQatabi has over ten years of banking experience and has demonstrated capability of skilled expertise in the financial markets, investment banking and portfolio management. He is a qualified professional with excellent skills in the field of financial management, analytical analysis, risk profiling, portfolio management, advisory and client relation management. Prior to his career at Investrade, Mr. AlQatabi gained global exposure in the International Banking Group of Saba Islamic Bank, Yemen.

Mr. AlQatabi is Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with highest honor from AMA International University Bahrain and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from University of Sanaa, Yemen. He is currently a candidate for CMA Certification (USA).

ANJUM SHAHZAD
VICE PRESIDENT | HEAD OF RISK, COMPLIANCE AND MLRO

Anjum Shahzad is an international banker with more than twenty years of experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, audit and policy formulation. Prior to joining Investrade Bahrain, he served as Managing Partner of Capinnova Solutions (Canada) and assisted Royal Bank of Canada (largest Canadian bank), FinDev Canada (Canadian only development finance institution and a wholly owned subsidiary of Export Development Canada) and Deutsche Gulf Finance (A Saudi mortgage finance company) in the areas of risk management, compliance, corporate governance and audit.

Anjum's other high-profile positions within the banking industry include Head of Enterprise Risk Management of Alrajhi Bank (Saudi Arabia), Head of Risk Management and Deputy MLRO of Capinnova Investment Bank (Bahrain), Head of Risk Management of Bahraini Saudi Bank (Bahrain), Head of Risk Management & Compliance of Atlas Bank (Pakistan), and Assistant Director of Inspection & Supervision of State Bank of Pakistan (central bank of Pakistan).

Anjum holds M.Sc. Economics from International Islamic University Pakistan and MA Economics with specialization in Banking and Risk Management from Yokohama National University Japan. He has also attended several high-profile professional trainings from well-known international organizations, for example, Bank for International Settlements, World Bank, International Finance Corporation, United Nations, and central banks of Pakistan, Switzerland, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.
